Previous Experience
Do I need previous experience with animals to attend classes?
Previous handling experience with animals is helpful but not required. Bring your love of animals and you’ll be fine.
Do I need previous experience with bodywork?
Previous bodywork experience with humans or animals is not required for our courses. If you are new to animal bodywork and EnergyWork™, our online Foundation courses in acupressure, shiatsu, EnergyWork™, and the Five Elements are good places to start. We also offer Starter Courses if you want a super easy first experience.
I have studied acupressure elsewhere. Can I start with the more advanced courses to earn your certificate?
Applying credit for previous studies toward our Practitioner Certificate requirements is determined on a case by case basis. If you have studied elsewhere, contact us so we can discuss your individual situation.
